I just worry about putting it on my partners phone and then getting out of sync - perhaps because she forgets to close it and I then make changes on the desktop. Could definitely do better with the documentationģ) Nonetheless the app is certainly adequate for entering transactions and viewing (not amending) your budget on the go.

Clearing the cache usually helps but on one occasion my budget screen just would not sync correctly and I had to clear the cloud service and then resync to it from desktop.Ģ) There is only very minimal information in the Moneyspire manual regarding the mobile app/cloud service and none at all about clearing the cache. I found in practice that, when I was setting up the desktop app (and making in depth changes), the mobile app would not sync correctly at all. Moneyspire 2020 (desktop) has matured into a great personal finance and budgeting app (much better for me then Quicken/Microsoft Money/Banktivity/Moneywiz etc). It gets 4 stars only because it does not purport to be anything but a companion app. This app is only a companion to the desktop app and cannot stand alone (it does not pretend otherwise - so fair enough).
